Our Infrastructure

Stoneworks’ infrastructure has been very crucial in helping us to achieve the position in the market that we now hold. We have a vast warehouse with the capacity to hold significant amounts of inventory. In addition to providing items on time, we also provide fast and effective shipping facilities. Additionally, our sourcing specialists make sure that all items are processed through our standard process and pass all the quality checks.

      Our Stone-Cutting Process

Stoneworks’ stone-cutting process is a multi-step procedure that bears the hallmark of the company’s commitment to providing premium natural stone slabs and products at affordable prices. This is accomplished by adhering to the strictest international quality standards at every stage of the process, which in turn protects the stones’ original polish, sheen, and durability.

01

Block Selection

To unearth and classify the best natural beauties, one needs an expert’s eye. At Stonework, our quality specialist and our group of knowledgeable curators choose only the best blocks from the world’s best quarries for natural stone. Once the block is selected, the dressing machine crew dresses the blocks after unloading to remove any contaminants, leaving them smooth and free of imperfections.

02

Slab Cutting from Block

At Stonework the most cutting-edge gang saws and cutters are used so that the slab cutting process causes the least amount of vibrations possible to the reinforced block. In accordance with current global quality requirements, the business now routinely reduces the thickness of its slabs from 20 to 18 millimetres

03

Slab Grinding

In the process of cutting slabs, some minor differences may remain. However, once the resin has been applied, we grind all of the slabs in our state-of-the-art grinding equipment to guarantee uniformity. We take all these precautions, so you can be certain that the premium natural stone slabs you purchase from us will be completely free of cracks.

04

Slab Polishing

As a last step of our process, final polishing is done using automated line polishers to give our premium natural stone slabs a crystal sheen that is much brighter than the standard polishing used by many stone manufacturers.

05

Packaging

We at Stonework have always believed in giving packaging of stones the utmost priority. Afterall, quality materials and aesthetics serve as the cornerstone of our business strategy. While taking every precaution to store and pack our exceptional grade stones, we make use of sturdy, high-quality wooden crates and slabs for packing tiles and slabs respectively.

The kind of wood used is tested for stable transportation operations and is also resistant to termite attack. Providing further security, these wooden boxes are then shrink-wrapped to shield them from external dangers like moisture and dust. The crates are then labelled and placed into the export container.
